Golden River is the only "proper" Chinese restaurant in Marmaris serving real Chinese food. The Zhang family came to Marmaris in 1995 and have been serving proper Chinese food ever since to their many customers who return year after year.  Golden River is open during the summer months from April to end of October.

Golden River is located in the harbour area opposite of the Mermaid statue. From the Tourist Information Bureau it is only a 300 metre walk along the sea front - link to map for location.

At the Golden River Restaurant you can enjoy real Chinese food prepared to ages old recipes. Would you like Sweet and Sour Chicken or Pork or how about Peking Style Duck? Their menu's include many set menus for one, two or four persons which gives you a chance to try many different dishes as each will include a number of different main courses. All set menus wil include starter soup, spring rolls, a beef or chicken dish plus rice and noodles. The serving are ample and you can be sure that you will enough regardless of how hungrey you are on arrival.

The Golden River menu is quite extensive and offers all the famous Chinese dishes giving you the opportunity to choose a variety of different dishes if none of the set menus appeals to you. The menu also includes a wide choice of starters. You will find all the well known Chinese dishes on the menu and also lesser known. Examples from the menu: hot & sour soup, spring rolls, mixed sizzling, beef with oyster sauce, prawns & green pepper, curry pork, chicken with satay sauce, many different kinds of rice, noodles and desserts including fried fruits with honey.
