Personal comments - This has been widely recognized as one
of the best marina in the Eastern Med both from a point of
view of safety and position. It is located on the eastern
edge of Marmaris town and within walking distance of the
centre of town yet sufficiently isolated that security is
good.
It is a real pleasure to live in a marina without
being forced to rely on the services provided by the marina
(restaurant/shops) or to have to organize one's life around
bus schedules.
Having used a number of marinas in the Eastern Med, this is
the first one I have found which is unaffected by storms as
the breakwater provides total protection from waves or
surges. If my yacht moves it is because a zodiac going past!
It is difficult to imagine a better place then Marmaris to
have work done on a yacht or modifications made - if you can
draw it or explain what you want, there is someone in
Marmaris who can make it at a reasonable cost. See listings

Berthing fees also cover water and electricity charges which
means no hassle worrying about being "nickel and dimed" to
death or the accuracy of meters or surcharges.
The marina came under new management in Aug 2005 and there
was a great deal of concern about the direction the new
owners would take the marina however with a change of
manager it appears that Netsel will once again regain it's
reputation as the "best marina in the eastern Med".
A number
of new facilities including free wi-fi for internet
connection has been added and in particular the new manager,
Mr Caglar Altuntas, is interested and anxious to hear any
suggestions for improvement.
